Join Matt Eliot to embrace meditation each Monday 7.30pm from May 21st
Meditation and other spiritual practices are designed to bring us in touch with the presence of Divine Consciousness within ourselves. That presence can often be experienced as a sudden rush of feeling in response to a beautiful sunset or a deep sense of belonging to something much greater than ourselves.
Rest in your own being.
Bathe in aliveness.
Celebrate our world.
Meditate.
We each have natural doorways to this rejuvenating power that rests in our hearts. For some, these doorways are enduring and predictable sources of good-heartedness. For others, our pathways to inner presence change regularly in response to the many changing conditions of our lives.
Skillful Heart Meditation involves finding these doorways and learning how to engage with our own source of grace. Whether in seated meditation or in the flow of our daily lives, these spiritual techniques can support heart-centred experience and the enjoyment of this amazing world we live in.
Each evening of Skillful Heart Meditation involves a practical teaching drawn from yogic sources as well as spiritual practices that better support living from our own Divine hearts. You will learn new perspectives for understanding your own spiritual journey as well as methods for accessing the potential of your own heart.
Designed as an ongoing series of evening classes, you are invited to attend each Monday evening or to attend whenever the spirit moves you.
Time: 7.30pm-8.30pm
Usual class prices apply & use your class passes. No need to book, just come.
About Matt Eliot
Matt Eliot, PhD has created Skillful Heart Meditation by drawing from over 30 years of studying and teaching Eastern practices, centred mostly on the inner techniques of Kashmir Shaivism. This school of philosophy belongs to the general category of white tantra, which explores the direct experience of Divine Consciousness through our senses, our knowing, and the everyday experience of being alive.
Matt has studied indepth with multiple teachers in this approach internationally, most recently with Lorin Roche who has authored The Radiance Sutras, a book which is used in yoga and meditation classes worldwide. Matt’s teaching technique is based in self inquiry, helping students to try on beliefs and techniques for themselves. Matt also serves as a meditation coach, supporting people from all walks of life to live from their hearts.
