Yoga, meaning ‘union or connection’, is an ancient and sacred science dating back thousands of years and unifies the physical, mental and spiritual aspects of our being.
In modern life we are increasingly sedentary, with our bodies being confined and yet our minds so far away, particularly as technology advances and we engage in the cloud. In a sense we become ‘disembodied’ as we lose touch with our breath and move further out of our physical being. Yoga becomes a tool to embody us back to this moment. To reconnect body, mind and breath.
Yoga Circle offers a selection of styles and intensity of yoga to suit all ages, body types and levels of fitness. Our collective of experienced and passionate teachers gives a great choice of styles and intensity. It is suggested you just find a time that suits you and start coming along – all yoga is yoga! You can find multiple classes a day on our Timetable. Please call if you have any questions: 0400 749 392.
We hold regular Beginner Yoga classes and 6 week Beginner courses.

As you discover more about Yoga, you will realise that it is not only about the physical postures, but is an integrated system and complete lifestyle that introduces tools such as breathwork (pranayama), diet, movement (vinyasa), meditation and cleansing. “The purpose of yoga, like that of any authentic spiritual practice, is to bring a deep sense of satisfaction and fulfillment into our lives. The ‘joy in yoga’ is found both in its end result and in the means it employs to bring us to that goal. Yoga does not lead us anywhere other than to the place that has always been and always will be – ultimate reality, our true nature, the eternal source of our highest bliss.” Lama Marut
“They were the expression of yoga, as are we all: the perfect union of left and right, front and back, above and below, inhale and exhale, inner and outer, all of which carry the female and male principles perfectly merged.” ~ Mark Whitwell, Yoga of Heart
