You are invited to join us for a 3 day re-charge where you move to nature’s rhythm, staying at the stunning High Spirits Retreat in magical Kin Kin only 35 mins into the Noosa Hinterland.
Enjoy sunset & sunrise meditations & breath work as you pranify yourself, ready for yoga asana practice, an asana lab each afternoon where you can receive personal guidance on any asana you’d like to deepen into, followed by relaxing Yoga Nidra or slow stretch Yin Yoga.
Explore the land as we reveal a few local magic spots, enjoy the large pool and evening saunas, kahuna massage and delicious vegetarian food from a dedicated chef.
There will be stillness & silence, laughter & connection, singing & sound healing. Time for play and rest.
This recharge is facilitated by Vivianne Barry with the assistance of Yoga Circle teachers: Adhi, Kara, Emily, Gail & Carolina – who will each offer their speciality sessions as well.
Our program will include Meditation & Breathwork, Vinyasa Yoga, Asana Lab (personal tuition & corrections), Yoga Nidra, Kirtan, Yin Yoga, Crystal Sound Meditation and walks in the beautiful surrounding area. There will be personal time for swimming, sauna, relaxing & massage.
Open to men & women, singles & couples. Some yoga experience is required – but the practice can be modified for your abilities & injury – that is after all what it’s about – moving safely within our limitations.

About High Spirits Retreat & Vivianne Barry
High Spirits Retreat is the home of Mette’s Institute for kahuna massage training and a spiritual home to many. This charged place for personal transformation, carries the energy of literally thousands of people who have been initiated by Mette Sorenson (my light & inspiration) in the healing arts over the past 25 years. Situated in a place of gorgeous natural beauty in the Kin Kin hinterland between Noosa & Gympie. The views are all embracing & the location will give us lots of sacred places to roam.
Vivianne is the founder of Yoga Circle and will be supported during this Re-Charge by many of the experienced teachers from Yoga Circle who themselves regularly attend retreats and know what makes a good one! This will be a complete yoga immersion, to balance our energies and enable our inner wellspring to joyously emerge. This will happen through both movement and stillness, inside and outdoors.
“I’d love you to come away from these 3 days feeling completely refreshed, invigorated and renewed with a deeper connection to Self.”
Our chef Luke Cappiello brings his Italian heritage and a passion for great food to the kitchen to cook us up a storm of delicious vegetarian food.
Our afternoon yoga sessions will be slower & deeper with Yin Yoga. There will also be an offering of completely still Yoga Nidra guided by Gail Hay. This ancient relaxation technique and meditation enables you to exist in a state of consciousness in-between sleep and awakeness. A verbally guided experience, it includes body scans and awareness on a Sankalpa (Resolve/Affirmation) with the aim of reducing stress, fatigue and anxiety, as it deeply nourishes us on all levels.
Channelling our voice in devotion is such a joyous way to express …. and singing mantra as kirtan will be offered by Adhi Bail one evening. We can be as loud as we like in Kin Kin!
Each afternoon there will be personal time for massage or walking or asana lab, led by KaraKrista, where you can received personalised attention to improve specific yoga postures.
