Expansion of individual energy into cosmic energy is called prāṇāyāma (prāṇa, energy + ayām, expansion) ~ Ramamurti Mishra

This system of 5 exercises was first revealed to the West by Peter Keider in his book, ‘Ancient Secret of the Fountain of Youth’. We will complete each class with a meditation to leave you feeling fully rejuvenated and ‘prana-fied’.
With the aim of refining these breathing exercises as we progress, to share regular group practice and observe the benefits over time which will accumulate over the 4 weeks.
When: each Monday for the month of August
Cost: $64 for the 4 classes (or use your passes but please reserve your spot firstname.lastname@example.org)
THIS SERIES OF CLASSES IS SUITABLE FOR STUDENTS WHO HAVE A REGULAR YOGA PRACTICE AND NOT COMPLETE BEGINNERS. IT IS NOT ADVANCED IN A PHYSICAL SENSE, BUT REQUIRES YOGIC DISCIPLINE AND CONTROL.
Pranayama is best carried out first thing in the morning, so this is an ideal time to develop your understanding and refine your breathing techniques to build a regular home breath practice.
Contraindications for people who have heart or blood pressure issues, suffering a hernia or are pregnant. Please call me to discuss if you have any concerns with your health that may affect your involvement in these exercises.
Please do not eat prior to the class as we need to practice on an empty stomach.

Because of this indivisibility of consciousness and energy there is a profoundly intimate correlation between the elements within our bodies and the natural elements in the outside world. This subtle connection can be discerned by individuals who have gained a certain level of spiritual realization or who have a naturally higher level of perception. ~ the Dalai Lama
