Yoga Nidra with Gail
This“yogic sleep”, is an established relaxation technique and guided meditation that allows the student to exist in a state of consciousness that is in-between sleep and being fully awake. Yoga Nidrais a verbally guided experience that includes body scans, visualization and embedding a Sankalpa (Resolve/Affirmation). The practice aims to reduce stress, fatigue, anxiety, and tension as it deeply nourishes the body, mind, and spirit.
Gail was first introduced to Yoga Nidra during a retreat at the Satyananda Ashram, Mangrove Mountain in 2008 and immediately fell in love with the practice. Since then she has studied with Rod Stryker, who developed his own version of Yoga Nidra– ‘Relax into Greatness’and Richard Miller PhD, who termed his Yoga Nidrapractice Integrative Restorationor iRest.
Crystal Sound Bath with Vivianne
Viv will play crystal sound bowls (silicon quartz crystal) which act as a transmitter of pure tone and and vibrational sound template to bathe you in pure sound frequency. Vivianne’s first experience with the crystal sound bowls transfixed her as a medium for feeling vibration throughout the body and providing a powerful portal into deep meditation and energetic cleansing.
The sound vibrations clear space and enable the shifting of energetic blockages, negative perceptions and mental hubris. This is a particularly potent practice with which to manifest intention: affirm, visualise and feel into your heart’s desire. Manifestation alchemy calls Intention as the first step to creating reality and the crystal sound encourages us to amplify intention and integrate it into our being at a cellular level, so bringing it into being.
