4 week Mindfulness Meditation course starting May 2nd

Join us for a 4 week course with Courtney Zohs

We will get to know the 4 Foundations of Mindfulness as taught by the Buddha in the Satipatthana Sutta.

This text will be the main inspiration for the course.  Having a grounded understanding of mindfulness as laid out in the teachings, allows us to add another element to our yoga practice, in asana, meditation and all of life. There are many ways described in detail how we can cultivate this present moment awareness in all experiences of life, to build momentum and encourage a trust and willingness to see things just as they are.

Each evening will include, guided meditation, discussion and how to bring this practice in to your daily life.

If you are a regular meditator, please come along to join and support the growing sangha, if you are new to meditation, this will be perfect to give you the techniques and knowledge to have your own meditation practice.  The intention is for us to create a regular sitting practice as a community ongoing.


When:  Tuesday May 2nd 2017 

Time: each Tuesday 7.30pm – 8.45pm

About Courtney Zohs

Courtney ZohsCourtney is a Yoga Alliance certified ERYT-500 with 10 years teaching and mentoring experience, with 15 years of practice and study, bringing a grounded understanding of integrating practice into every aspect of our lives.  She teaches Hatha Vinyasa style of asana, incorporating bandha, pranayama and meditation with a strong emphasis on utilising the breath.

Courtney’s personal practice is meditation influenced by the Theravada and Insight traditions from the teachings of the Buddha.  She has a daily  sitting practice, as well as attending several vipassana retreats each year which unveils many insights into understanding of self.

Courtney’s aim is to help you increase your awareness, to see through your limiting beliefs, and to recognise your natural compassion and understanding for the benefit of all beings.
